Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 1:30 PM in Council Chambers, Lower Level, City Hall, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, the Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing on the following items:  3) CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 24-011/MITGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION NO. 24-002 (REDONDO CIRCLE INDUSTRIAL PROJECT): Applicant: Matthew Biggs Property Owner: Triple H Properties Request: CUP: To remove an existing lumber yard and all associated site improvements and construct two industrial warehouse buildings, approximately 40 ft. high, totaling 185,912 sq. ft., with each building containing two office/mezzanine floor units and a truck loading dock on an approximately 9.59-acre site. MND: To analyze the potential environmental impacts associated with the project. Location: 7600 Redondo Circle, 92648 (at the terminus of Redondo Cir.)


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that initial environmental assessments for the above items were processed and completed in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act. It was determined that Item # 3, with mitigation, would not have any significant environmental effects and that a mitigated negative declaration is warranted. The environmental assessment is on file at the City of Huntington Beach Community Development Department, 2000 Main Street, and is available for public inspection and comment by contacting the Community Development Department, or by telephoning (714) 536-5271. 

ON FILE: Copies of the above application(s) are on file in the Department of Community Development, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, California 92648, for review by the public. Copies of the executive summary will be available to interested parties at City Hall or online at http://www.huntingtonbeachca.gov on Friday, December 12, 2025.

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to attend said hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the application as outlined above. If you challenge the Zoning Administrator’s action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at, or prior to, the public hearing. Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the action taken by the Zoning Administrator is final unless an appeal is filed to the Planning Commission by you or by an interested party. Said appeal must be in writing and must set forth in detail the action and grounds by which the applicant or interested party deems himself aggrieved. Said appeal must be accompanied by a filing fee of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Six Dollars ($3,876.00) if the appeal is filed by a single family dwelling property owner appealing the decision on his own property and Five Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars ($5,349.00) if the appeal is filed by any other party. The appeal shall be submitted to the Secretary of the Planning Commission within ten (10) calendar days of the date of the Zoning Administrator's action, unless otherwise noted.
